📖 Read the story
Everything we see is made of matter. Your toys, trees, and dogs are all matter. But there is also something called antimatter. It is the opposite of matter. When matter and antimatter touch, they both disappear. Long ago, there was a lot of antimatter in space. Today, we cannot find it. Why did it go away? Scientists think tiny black holes can explain this. A black hole is a very heavy place in space. It pulls everything inside itself. When the universe was new, many tiny black holes were born. They were only as heavy as a small car. Soon, these black holes exploded. The explosions made a lot of energy. This energy made more matter. Because of this, stars, the Earth, and humans could live and grow.
