Scientists recently filmed a baby sperm whale birth for the first time. They used special flying cameras called drones to take the video. The mother whale’s name is Rounder. When the baby was born, ten other whales swam close to help. Some of these helper whales were not even in Rounder’s family. They worked together like a friendly team. A new baby whale cannot swim well. It also needs to breathe air quickly. So, the adult whales did something wonderful. They gently held the baby above the water.
